EBERHARD & CO.

A family business since 1887 – Eberhard is one the few truely independent Swiss watch manufacturers.

BACKGROUND

Known for its sporty chronographs and involvement with the famous 1930s race driver Tazio Nuvolari, the Swiss watch manufacturer chose ipr to enhance its brand awareness in Germany/Austria and The Netherlands and support the retailer network.

IPR ACTIVITIES

As a core activity ipr implemented the German Eberhard press office and introduced an on- and offline campaign with a focus on educating press, bloggers, retailers and potential customers regarding the brand´s latest achievements. Sponsorship and exhibitions at selected classic car events put Eberhard & Co. in touch with the key audience.

ARNOLD & SON

John Arnold started his business making unique watches for King George in 1770. Today Arnold & Son still make watches with beautiful symmetrical designs and produce their own movements. With prices up to 200.000 Euros Arnold & Son are positioned at the highest level.

The Swiss-based watch manufacture with a long history and new market presence seeks to establish the brand with both retailers and connoisseurs of watches. Using only in-house movements and with prices ranging from 10.000 to 200.000 Euros, Arnold & Son are aiming at the top end of the market.

IPR ACTIVITIES

Accompanied by retailer events in luxury locations, ipr devised a media campaign with a heavy focus on German press relations in gentlemen´s luxury and specialist watch publications. Monthly press releases featuring BACKGROUND stories on the history of the manufacture together with the latest news in watch developments create a continuous presence in print and digital media. Placed on the vintage Portuguese Presidential train´s gourmet travels, ipr managed to introduce the manufacture to exclusive customers. Kevin Fehling, German 3-star-Michelin-rated chef with international fame could be won as brand ambassador.

Italian goldsmith Pasquale Bruni started his own business in the 1970s designing and manufacturing for others. In the 1980s Bruni founded his own luxury brand.

Using Brunis´ distinctive floral designs, ipr focussed the press campaign on jewellery trade and lifestyle magazines. Core activities included personal presentations at exhibitions (Baselworld), key publishing houses and top retailers.
